“Absolutely Beautiful” is how most visitors describe Wren Cottage.
This charming retreat was originally built around 1550 as a shippon to accommodate cows. Set within the curtilage of Fairboroughs Farmhouse it is also grade 2 listed. Wren Cottage was converted into a beautiful self-catering holiday cottage in 2002. The 21st Century conversion incorporated all the best of modern day comforts and convenience in the midst of a charming historic building.
We take great pride in our attention to detail and trust you will find a home from home setting with your comforts and needs being our priority.
Rated 4-Star by the English Tourist Board, Wren Cottage comfortably accommodates 4 guests in one double and one twin bedroom. Larger group bookings are welcomed concurrently with a Pamper Van booking.
Wren Cottage is perfect for a relaxing break, a romantic escape or a girly getaway. With its original warm sandstone walls and oak beams and trusses, this characterful cottage will steal your heart. If its character alone cannot inspire a sense of calm, the woodpeckers, nuthatches and robins on your patio surely will.
