Welcome to Fairboroughs Farm in Leek, Staffordshire
Fairboroughs Farm is a working farm dating back to the 13th century and one of the oldest farms in Staffordshire. Nestled amid rolling hills in the Staffordshire Moorlands on the edge of the Peak District National Park. With a fascinating history, this farm is an unspoilt treasure trove of ancient woodlands, meadows and wonderful wildlife.
We, the Lowe Family, have lived and worked on Fairboroughs Farm since 1966 and have many years’ experience in welcoming guests to holiday on and around the farm. Over the years, many of those guests have become our family friends.
By way of accommodation, we have the lovely 16th century 4 star self-catering Wren Cottage or, alternatively, book a bespoke relaxing break in Ruby’s Retreat with its own hot tub. We also accommodate touring caravans on our Caravan & Motorhome Club certified site.
If you are a keen horse rider and would like to explore our surrounding countryside, we can provide bespoke horse riding holidays for you and your horse. Stables and secure paddocks are available for visiting horses along with a selection of circular ride routes to choose from which vary from 4 to 17 miles.
With over 150 acres of rolling hills and woodland, Fairboroughs Farm is also the ideal setting for your wedding or special event. We have a choice of fields with breathtaking views which are available to hire – please see our event field page for more information.
For almost 50 years, visitors have returned to Fairboroughs Farm, describing it as ‘a hidden gem’, ‘a little haven’, ‘an escape’, ‘a well kept secret’. It really doesn’t matter what time of year you visit us, there are always things to see and do. Two days are rarely the same at Fairboroughs Farm, whether it’s new born lambs, bluebell woods, or traditional harvesting fun. So come and enjoy the peaceful, beautiful surroundings which others have found and returned to time and time again.
